FAQ

This is one of our most common question!

If you turned the volume up on your device but the sound is still too low, the solution is almost always about placement.

The Fix: Position Speakers Directly Over Ears

The small speakers inside the headband can move around. Feel for the flat, circular speakers inside the fabric.

Slide them so they are positioned directly over the center of your child's ears.

Other possible reasons for this issue include:

Low battery: If the battery is very low, it can affect how the sound is coming out.

To fix it, charge your Bandou fully.

Bluetooth connection: A bad connection might also be the culprit. In your device's Bluetooth settings, select "Forget Device" and then reconnect to refresh the connection.

Device sound limits: It’s possible your device already has a volume limit built-in, which would stack on top of Bandou’s limit and considerably lower the volume.

Here’s how to remove them on different devices:

For iOS Users (iPhone, iPad, etc.) Navigate to "Settings"> "Sounds & Haptics" > "Headphone Safety." Toggle off "Reduce Loud Sounds."

*Note:"Reduce Loud Sounds" is only available on devices running iOS 14 or later.

For Fire Tablet Users

Open your Fire Tablet and navigate to "Settings." Select "Device Options" > "Sounds & Notifications." Find "Volume Limits." Toggle "Set volume limits" to the "Off" position to remove any volume restrictions.

For Android Users (Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, etc.)

On many phones (especially Samsung), go to Settings > Sounds & vibration > Volume > tap the three-dot menu (or “More options”) > Media volume limiter > turn it off.

Pairing is quick and easy!

1. Press and hold the Play button for 4 seconds until the LED light flashes red and blue.

2. Open Bluetooth settings on your device and select "Bandou 3.0" from the list.

4. Wait a few seconds for the connection. The LED will turn solid blue when paired.

5. To reset the connection, go to your device’s Bluetooth settings and tap "Forget This Device", then follow the pairing steps again.

Whether you want to wash the fabric, or swap the design, here's how to remove the electronic module:

Step 1: Power Off

Ensure your Bandou is turned off before beginning. You can turn it off by pressing the play/pause button for 3 seconds (or until the LED light turn off).

Step 2: Access the Slot

Locate the slot at the back of your Bandou. This is where the electronic module and cords can be removed from.

Step 3: Remove the Cords

Carefully pull the cords from the slot. Proceed slowly to avoid damaging them. Make sure to remove the main control module as well as the 2 speakers.

To insert back in the electronic module

Step 1: Locate to longer cord

Take the module and locate the longer cord. That's the speaker that is gonna be placed on the right ear.

Step 2: Insert the module

Slowly insert the module in the slot until it fits the logo patch.

Step 3: Insert the right speaker

Slowly insert the right speaker. Place it all the other way around on the right side of the headband. Make sure that the side with holes faces the ears (facing the center of the headband, not to exterior).

Step 4: Insert the left speaker

Proceed to insert the left speaker now. This one is easier to place, you can guide yourself by placing it under the module.

Step 5: Reshape and adjust

Simply reshape the headband and make sur that the speakers are well placed. Adjust on the head of your children if needed. The speakers really need to be close to their ears.
